Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and can close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house by using a combined gross house income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined home income does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to 2025 nsfas application all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the right Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected nsfas status of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are studying or plan to research at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the 2025 nsfas application processing of their application.
